It is a ritual to place two friedgram chikki cones during wedding. Each cone represents the bride and the groom ready to begin their life with all sweetness and love of the world. After the wedding, to signify the union of two souls, the chikki cones are broken against each other resulting in smaller chunks of chikki mixed well and distributed to the guests gracing the occasion.
In AYUSHYA HOMAM (First Birthday Pooja):
Friedgram Chikki Cones are kept in Ayushya Homam Pooja. Ayushya homam is a pooja performed to commemorate the first birthday of the baby to promote longevity, good health and well-being by invoking the god of life. It is considered auspicious to place the friedgram chikki cone during the pooja to bless the baby with all the sweetness and goodness the life is ought to offer.
